How to configure Mac Mail to access your mail

To setup your email account up on Mac Mail, please make sure you have first created the email account in your cPanel. For steps on this, please go to http://www.fastwayweb.com/members/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=2.

1. Choose Add Account from the File menu. If this is the first time you've opened Mail, you will be automatically prompted to add an account

2. Type in name, email address and password and click Create

3. Incoming Mail Server
Account Type: POP or IMAP

Description: 
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com (replacing 'yourdomain.com' with your actual domain name)
username: Full email address
password: Email password

4. Click Continue

5. Go to Incoming Mail Security and untick Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
Authentication: Password

6. Click Continue

7. Go to Outgoing Mail Server

Description:
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com (replacing 'yourdomain.com' with your actual domain name)
Tick Use Only This Server
Tick Use Authentication
username: Full email address
password: Email password

8. Click continue

9. Outgoing Mail Security: Untick Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
Authentication: Password

9. Click Continue

10. Click Create
